The Barn Glencloy Brodick. Our two hundred year old home, once a threshing barn, has been tastefully converted to offer you warm, modern and comfortable accommodation for your holiday on Arran.  Refurbished this year 2010  .We are only a five minute car drive from the ferry terminal in Brodick, situated in a peaceful glen, yet an easy walk from restaurants and leisure facilites.

We have two  double en suite bedrooms and can also accommodate a childs cot, or a single z bed.  Both rooms have lovely rural views and  look across the Fiirth of Clyde  in the distance to the mainland.  The garden is home to the red squirrel  and many woodland birds,in the spring time you can watch the hares boxing in the fields and occasionally red deer join us .Pheasants,buzzards and owls inhabit the glen.


After a peaceful nights sleep, your breakfast is served in our breakfast/lounge area. An extensive choice is available, locally sourced wherever possible. This will include yogurts,fruit (from our garden in season) Arran preserves,cereals,local bakery produce from Woolleys bakery, and sausages and bacon from Galbraiths butchers in Blackwaterfoot. Our own little hens which are free ranging provide the most delicious eggs you have ever tasted. Children-and big kids- are welcome to help collect the eggs!

Prices from £60.00 Double ,single from £45.00 en-suite, Family room sleeping two adults and a child on request . Refreshment tray, hairdrier, TY/DVD with freeview, WIFI access, guest controlled heating in each room. Packed lunches and laundry facilities on request . plenty of room for bikes and walking boots.
