It would be good I think, if the local BBC forecast for Ardrossan/Brodick were included or made available. the current link seems to go to a US host who isn't sure where or what "Arran" is re the 5 day forecast.

The BBC 5 day Atlantic pressure chart also gives basic meteorologists like me a fighting chance of understanding what's ahead over the next 5 days, and their inshore waters forecast which covers the Firth of Clyde, might also be worth including.

The link to the CalMac site is to be commended as they seem to be pretty much on the ball re service disruptions.
